Very knowledgeable and friendly.Posted on Rachael MoodyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had an excellent experience at Good Year Puyallup! From start to finish, the service was outstanding. Joey at the front desk was absolutely wonderful—friendly, helpful, and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. He took the time to explain everything clearly and kept me updated throughout. The technicians were extremely knowledgeable and did a fantastic job working on my Subaru Crosstrek. They were quick, honest, and very professional. It’s not always easy to find a shop you can truly trust, but this team really delivered. I highly recommend A Good Year Puyallup if you’re looking for reliable, professional, and trustworthy service. I’ll definitely be coming back!Posted on Priest MasterssonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. They sabotaged my vehicle, I will be showing up with the police and a statement from my mechanic to bring up charges. I brought my 05 Chevy Impala in for a routine oil change and transmission flush. All was fine and I parked in front of a service door so they could drive it right in. When I came back out of the office one of the tech's yelled "Hey, don't you see the sign?" I said "Yes but I'm getting my oil changed, like right now" he yelled again "I don't care you can read, can't you?" Mind you I parked in front of an empty bay, purposely as to not inconvenience them. More words were exchanged and I almost canceled service. However the nice folks in the office de-escalated the situation and we moved forward with service. I specifically asked them not to allow that particular tech to work on my car. After service, the paperwork said my driver's side wheel bearing had play in it, and I noticed(for the first time) my car was making a clunking sound when I hit certain bumps. I have been moderately driving the vehicle as to not exacerbate the issue until I could have a mechanic look at it. Well, my mechanic took the wheel off and notice they removed the bottom caliper bracket mounting bolt. There is absolutely No Way that it was missing as there was zero issue before the service. Oh and there was nothing wrong with my wheel bearing to begin with. I believe that in some sick retaliation they purposely removed the bolt in order to cause great bodily harm and damage my vehicle. I feel violated and betrayed by a business that I put my trust in. Now I am very reluctant to ever take my car to a shop again, this is outragous and I am going to be speaking with a lawyer as soon as possible. I Do Not recommend getting service here, it may cost you your life.Posted on WhitneyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. When servicing a customer's vehicle, I found that the front drivers side caliper was being held in by only ONE bolt, which was completely loose. As this shop was the last place to service the vehicle, it leaves me with concerns on their safety standards.Posted on Jeremiah WestTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Update: Goodyear reached out to me following my review and has refunded the $180 diagnostic fee. I appreciate them taking responsibility and making this right. ***I visited SEA TAC Tire & Auto Tech for a diagnosis of engine noise issues in my vehicle. Unfortunately, my experience was frustrating due to a lack of upfront communication about their service limitations. What Happened: After paying $180 for a diagnostic service, I was informed that my car needed engine work involving rod bearing or main bearing issues, requiring engine removal. Only then did the mechanic tell me that they don’t perform engine replacements at their location. This meant I was stuck with the diagnosis fee and had to seek another shop for both a second diagnosis and the actual repair work. The Problem: The main issue here is transparency. If the shop had informed me upfront that they don’t handle engine replacements, I would have chosen a different facility that could complete the entire job. Instead, I’m now out $180 and still need to find another shop that can handle comprehensive engine work. Customer Service Concerns: Melissa at the front counter should have asked about the nature of my car troubles and informed me of their service limitations before I committed to the diagnostic fee. This would have saved both of us time and prevented customer dissatisfaction.*** Update: Goodyear reached out to me following my review and has refunded the $180 diagnostic fee. I appreciate them taking responsibility and making this right.
